ISH24 Sodalime / Carbon Dioxide Absorbant. Works as the CO2 "Scrubber" compnent in a Closed Circuit Breathing Apparatus to allow users to rebreathe their own breath.

Specifications

Hazard Statement:

  • Soda Lime for the absorption of CO₂ from exhaled breathing gas.
  • Only store in tightly closed original container, protected from heat and sunlight.
  • Observe expiration date. Do not flush Soda Lime with dry gases. Observe safety data sheet. Soda Lime is used in systems; device or application system specifications must be complied with.
  • Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
  • Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray.
  • Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
  • IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water and soap.
  • IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
  • IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
  • Contains: Sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide.

 

7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including imncompatiabilties.

Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well ventilated place. Air and moisture sensitive.

Keep in a dry place. Storage class (TRGS 510): Non combustible Solids.
